A Language Coordinator with German is an entry-level position in the Language Services environment. A Language Coordinator provides linguistic support to a project team looking after German-speaking customers from all over the world.

We are looking for people with:
• fluent English and German (knowledge of any other language will be a plus),
• basic computer skills, working knowledge of Windows and MS Office environment,
• a general idea of CAT tools (working knowledge of any CAT tool will be a plus),
• experience with languages (translation, interpreting, teaching, Erasmus-like experience),
• a university degree, preferably in Philology/Linguistics (you can be a 4th/5th year student),
• proactivity and curiosity (asking good questions),
• the ability to learn quickly,
• the ability to cooperate within a team and coordinate work of others,
• the ability to work in a systematic way, multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

• support everyday language quality activities in multi-language localization projects,
• perform and supervise automated quality checks using localization software,
• make sure that our translators can work efficiently by creating, editing, and maintaining support materials such as translation memories, glossaries, style guides, instructions, and reference materials,
• manage query databases and answer queries from translators and customers.
