Language Coordinator is an entry-level position in the Language Services environment. Person on this position will be responsible for providing linguistic support to a project team and looking after customers from all over the world.
Fluent English - at least B2/C1 level (knowledge of any other language will be an asset);
Basic computer skills, working knowledge of Windows and MS Office environment;
General idea of CAT tools (working knowledge of any CAT tool will be an asset),
Experience in professional work with languages (translation, interpreting, teaching, Erasmus-like experience);
University degree, preferably in Philology/Linguistics (you can be a 4th/5th year student);
Proactivity and curiosity (asking good questions);
Ability to learn quickly and to cooperate within a team and coordinate the work of others;
Ability to work in a systematic way, multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Everyday support of language quality activities in multi-language localization projects;
Performing and supervising an automated quality checks using localization software;
Making sure that our translators can work efficiently by creating, editing and maintaining support materials such as translation memories, glossaries, style guides, instructions and reference materials;
Managing query databases and answering queries from translators and customers.
