Position Title: IT Support Specialist

Our busy office currently has an opportunity for a motivated, hardworkingIT SupportSpecialist. In this position, the successful applicant will be the main point of contact for Tier 2/3 IT support, as well as responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computers, mobile devices and associated software within the office and for remote users. Responsibilities:
  • Provide clear, concise IT support to end users and executive staff in a professional, courteous manner
  • Monitor and maintain a centralized help desk ticketing system, involving network and user support requests
  • Resolve user identified problems through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and solution implementation
  • Build and configure desktops/laptops in accordance with departmental standards
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and maintain all hardware and software related issues for users, on site and remotely
  • Maintain the operation and maintenance of anti-virus and spyware applications on desktop/laptop computing systems
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with departmental guidelines
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues regarding technical incidents
  • Assist in documenting IT technical instructions, processes and procedures
  • Work closely with other members of the team on corporate initiatives
  • Proficiency to handle project work in a team environment


Required Experience:
  • Exceptional customer service skills and able to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with Active Directory, network connectivity and network folder permissions
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of Windows 7/10: imaging, system restores and login credentials
  • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office 365: predominantly Outlook, Skype for Business and OneDrive (Teams is a PLUS)
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of a variety of computer hardware, software, peripheral equipment, file/print services, and virus/malware tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft's SCCM package and Service Manager Console
  • Knowledge of WiFis, routers and managed switches


Education:
  • Associates Degree with 2-3yrs of related experience or 3-5yrs of equivalent experience
