As a Lionbridge International Program Manager, you'll support a large, well-known company based in California's Silicon Valley to achieve their localization goals. You'll work through all aspects of the game development cycle, partnering with stakeholders across disciplines to develop and document localization strategy and plans and ensure processes meet internationalization needs. You'll support the team on industry best practices regarding file formats, font engineering, content management and scheduling. You'll be an independent team member working across all disciplines, including development, translation, localization engineering and test. You'll report out proactively, helping other disciplines and your leadership understand risks and identify solutions throughout production. At the end of the day you'll leave feeling proud of your work, and proud of the game experiences you are helping create for players worldwide.

Due to COVID-19 you'll work from home initially and may transition to working onsite at the customer's offices when it is safe to do so.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as liaison between customer stakeholders, 3rd party game developers and Lionbridge's international teams

• Clarify and refine internationalization requirements and operational processes for game localization

• Educate customer stakeholders and 3rd party developers on localization best practices

• Act as primary point of contact for localization production, representing all Lionbridge Gaming disciplines - project management, translation, QA, engineering, and audio

• Roll out new processes and process improvements with local and remote teams

• Manage project risks across translation, audio production and QA

• Report operational issues to client manager(s) and appropriate Lionbridge stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of project management experience working with global multifunctional teams

• 3+ years of experience working in Games and Localization

• Proven experience driving international requirements for software and/or gaming products

• Proven ability to build strong client relationships

• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and decision-making skills

• Ability to analyze problems and offer client multiple solutions to choose from based on their priorities

• Ability to speak multiple languages and/or knowledge of linguistic considerations preferred
