Lionbridge is looking to hire a European HR Business Partner, based in Dublin.

Reporting into the Senior HR Director, Europe, you will be leading the HR activities for a specific region, using your HR knowledge and insights to support effective operational decision making, across different business units. This role focuses on issues vital to the organisation's success, with a mix of business partnering and HR strategy deployment.

To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to establish effective cross-functional relationships with people at all levels and geographies.

What You Will Do:-

Resourcing and Talent Management
  • Working with the Talent Management Team in Europe to support screening and offers to candidates

Performance Management & Engagement
  • Actively drive engagement via involvement in bi-annual employee engagement survey across your region
  • Analyse engagement survey results to identify valid insights and convert these into recommendations to guide sound decision-making
  • Administer and champion the bi-annual performance appraisal process
  • Work alongside operational leaders to improve employee engagement and retention rates
  • Lead and deliver projects and cultural initiatives
  • Partner with senior business leaders and lead challenging conversations, drive accountability
    and leadership behaviours throughout the business.

Operational Success
  • Delivering high quality end-to-end people experiences throughout the lifecycle
  • Facilitating new starter inductions ensuring all documentation is completed in line with Company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and review HR policies and processes & implement changes where necessary
  • Manage employee relations including disciplinary, grievances, absence and dismissals
  • Payroll liaison; submit changes to the payroll department
  • Ensure HR best practice is implemented
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment law and ensure full compliance of decisions with legal requirements and internal policies.

Information Management
  • Evaluate and prepare statistics as and when required by the business
  • Attend monthly HR team meeting and share key learnings with the team to develop an understanding of what is happening within the business.


What You Will Need:-
Essential
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
  • At least 3 years working in a matrixed organisation
  • A skilled influencer who can collaborate effectively and deliver on time
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills are essential for this role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Confident handling people issues and giving advice to managers
  • Computer Literate - proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • University degree or equivalent experience & qualifications.

Desirable
  • CIPD or a related qualification or part-qualification would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience with change management
  • Experience of working in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working in a multinational company
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and experience in global mobility
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and SAP.
