We at Lionbridge are actively seeking a strong Human Resources Generalist who will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for a specific business unit. This position reports into one of our Sr. HR Generalists.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide high-quality advice and support on daily employee relations issues, including but not limited to; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, engagement, and morale.
  • Be the point person for personnel issues that will be relayed from multiple shifts.
  • Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and managers.
  • Identify and act upon coaching opportunities with managers to build management capability.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Assist with the weekly new hire onboarding (collaborating with trainers, supervisors, and the recruiting team) to ensure a smooth transition through the process.
  • Communicate and carry out the organization's policies, procedures, and standards, and contribute to continual improvements to the efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Act with authority and the highest standards of business ethics on matters related to employee well-being and protection of corporate business interests.
  • Responsible for onsite administrative tasks such as incoming/outgoing mail as it relates to the department and employees and other items as necessary.
  • Maintain and administer onsite COVID safety protocols and procedures
  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Assist on special projects as requested.


To be successful you will have:

  • 2 or more years of related HR experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of practices related to Human Resources, including employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and standards such as ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc.
  • Proven experience communicating effectively with all levels of employees and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, influence others and work in a dispersed team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment and to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints while maintaining attention to detail.
  • The creativity to anticipate and resolve conflicts, solve problems and/or develop alternatives.
  • Proven record of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary and sensitive HR information.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
  • Proficient to advanced skill level with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP preferred.


Working Environment:


  • Work will be performed onsite. Commutable location to Boise, ID is a must.
  • Flexible schedule. Must be available to adapt schedule to overlap day and night shift partially on some days.
  • Very occasional travel may be required. Up to 10%.
