We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to work embedded in our client's Global Communications - Digital Experience & Enablement team. This team is responsible for consistently delivering connected, intuitive, and thoughtful digital communications, and for the planning, coordination, and execution of quality projects aimed at both internal employees and external clients.
For this reason, the ideal candidate should have the right mix of creative and technical skills to improve existing and design new digital properties while using human-centered design techniques and personifying what true storytelling should be. You should possess unparalleled communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity, with the ability to quickly turn concepts and ideas into wireframes and prototypes while collaborating in tight partnership with various teams and stakeholders across regions.
Your day to day will include activities such as:
Analyzing business objectives and refining client goals to translate them into clear UI requirements
Designing user interfaces and customer journeys for modern enterprise websites and web applications (customer and client facing)
Applying accessibility and responsive design best practices (web/mobile)
Performing visual interaction design for digital user interfaces based on data gathered from previously conducted UX research, interviews, surveys, and similar activities by others.
Developing wireframes and prototypes in a clean, well structured, and easily navigable format using relevant UI Design tools
Designing artifacts such as journey maps, user journeys, and personas as needed.
To be successful you should be able to:
Interpret existing content and translate the narrative into visual designs that align with the business objectives.
Prioritize interdependent activities classified into tasks and sub-tasks to develop design systems
Resolve complex or simultaneous quick-turn projects as part of a dynamic Agile team
Collaborate with other groups to document, monitor, and control progress, including but not limited to stakeholders, Development, PM, and QA teams
Adapt your solution approach to the context and constraints of each project
Communicate effectively in both technical and business environments
Work independently or remotely with multi-cultural teams across regions and time zones.
Technical Experience (must have)
4+ years of proven user interface (UI) Design experience for enterprise-wide use through all stages of the design, development, testing, and go-live cycles
English business proficiency level (C1)
Basic understanding of basic HTML AND CSS for design capabilities (no programming background required)
Fluent in responsive design for desktop/mobile/tablet
Strong knowledge of UI design tools such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Abstract, or similar.
Understanding of web standards and accessible design (508 compliance)

Problem solving approach (strong bias for action and natural ability to work around impediments)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn from others (teamwork)
Attention to quality and detail
Nice to have:
Experience with Agile methodology
Estimation abilities in scoping work
Javascript basic-intermediate knowledge
UX - performing user research, user testing, conducting workshops, and/or compiling data.
