Lionbridge Technologies seeks a highly motivated, results-driven junior-level Government Sales Director (GSD) to join the OPI team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing an ambitious pipeline of business through outbound prospecting, creative thinking, and strategically navigating complex organizations with the ability to sell to multiple, high-level decision makers.
What You Will Do
Independently contact prospective customers within assigned state and local government accounts to present Lionbridge's solutions
Support senior Government Sales Director on large or strategic opportunities
Maintain a robust, up-to-date pipeline for new logo opportunities
Educate customers and clients on service lines, solutions, pricing, and availability while consistently achieving set revenue quotas
Collaborate and maintain relationships with Sales and internal/external Operations teams
Thorough understanding of the government sales and RFP cycles and ability to leverage each stage to advance the sale
To Be Successful You Will Have
2+ years' experience in a comparable sales role with the ability to sell directly into state and local government accounts
Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Proven ability prospect and manage a designated territory
Ability to think strategically and innovatively about which clients and verticals to target
Knowledge of the OPI market/offering and/or the state and local government market or interest in developing a solid understanding of this offering

Competitive pay based on the work you’ll do here and not your previous salary. Expected Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 base + a competitive and achievable commission plan!
