Global Software Development Team Leader:

Lionbridge is seeking a talented individual to work as a Global Software Development Team Leader to join our OPI engineering Team, which is responsible for building our rapidly expanding Interpretations platform. What You Will Do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop global teams across multiple regions.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and cross-cultural communication.
• Implement and track strategic performance goals for teams worldwide.
• Consider global scalability and international compliance when making architectural decisions.
• Design and architect solutions that adhere to diverse regional requirements while avoiding over-engineering.
• Utilize agile best practices to formulate implementation strategies that cater to diverse team dynamics.
• Ensure the uptime and reliability of production systems across multiple regions.
• Manage and lead global teams in monitoring, managing, and maintaining operational systems.
• Prioritize the backlog to align with global strategic objectives.
• Coordinate sprint planning and stand-ups across different time zones.
• Set and manage expectations for internal and external stakeholders across various regions.
• Communicate delays and scope changes effectively across a global network.
  
  

To Be Successful You Will Have:

• 6+ years of experience in developing full-stack web-based software using .Net Framework and .Net Core.
• 5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frameworks. Experience with mobile applications development is a plus.
• Deep understanding of monolith, microservice architectures, and architecture patterns suitable for global distributed systems.
• Extensive experience in building distributed systems and cloud-based solutions, specifically with Microsoft Azure or similar platforms.
• Proven track record of involvement in building scalable and performant technology solutions on a global scale.
• Expertise in conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Test Driven Development and its application in diverse team environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, major software development disciplines, and experience with Agile iterative development processes in a global context.

• Ability to lead global teams effectively, including hiring, managing, and mentoring junior developers across multiple regions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in other languages being a plus.
