An opportunity has arisen for a European Payroll Specialistto join the Finance Team in Lionbridge Poland, work primarily on our Poland payroll but also opportunity to work on other payrolls and projects!
Completing Monthly Payroll and working with external Payroll Service Providers to ensure the timely processing of the payrolls;
Ensuring Payroll procedures are compliant with internal regulations;
Ensuring all statutory payroll returns are filed and paid over to the respective authority;
Posting and reconciliation of payroll related activities to the general ledger;
Assist with various accounting activities and finance projects as required;
Dealing with payroll related queries;
Preparing employee's remuneration certificates on request;
Main point of contact for internal and external audits on all payroll related issues;
Other ad-hoc duties where required.
2+ Years Poland Payroll experience;
Advanced Business English required and excellent communication skills;
Knowledge of Social Insurance Act, Personal Income Tax Act, Act on cash benefits from social insurance;
Experience in partnering with HR;
Customer experience - dealing with customers (employees, tax authorities, etc.);
Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Word/Excel is essential;
Establishing and managing Service Level Agreements;
Outstanding team player with excellent people skills;
Ability to deal with and protect the confidential nature of information being dealt with;
Self starter and organized individual who can work under pressure and keep to deadlines.
