Equity Research Translator

Key responsibilities:

Providing translation services of documents written in Simplified Chinese into English and from English to Simplified Chinese as instructed by IBCN

Ensure reports are translated and published in an efficient manner

Typical KPIs and targets:

Translation speed (> 2500 words/characters of source language per day)

Translation accuracy (error rate < 3‰)

Translation should follow IBCN style

Cooperation with IBCN analysts, editors and SAs

Requirements:

The translator will work on-site at the IBCN office. The work will be completed during normal business hours, but the Translator may be required to work extra hours depending on the work load.

The translator will be dedicated to IBCN Research business, and abide by all applicable IBCN and Research policies including Global Research Desk Instruction Manual, personal account dealing policies, confidentiality rules and applicable controls e.g. surveillance;

The Translator should be based in the same secure area as Research business;

The Translator would have to attend all new joiner and applicable trainings as delivered from time to time;

The Translator should not share unpublished research with non-research personnel;
