Lionbridge is looking to hire an experienced Enterprise Sales Director (m/f/d) , to join our European Life Sciences Sales team. This role will be remote-based in Germany.
The ideal candidate is a successful sales executive with consultative sales experience within life sciences and localisation services.
Your focus will be on developing new customers in the DACH region. You will ideally have sales experience in Life Science localisation with a Global LSP. Alternatively you may be from the pharmaceutical or medical technology industries since you will be selling specialized and regulated services to R&D industry professionals. You may have been in a sales role at a CRO or another supplier delivering industry compliant services to pharmaceutical or Medtech customers. As a minimum, you must be interested in learning about the industries and specialize your sales efforts. Lionbridge are passionate not only about serving our Life Science customers, but also about bringing safe and effective medicines to patients on a global scale.
What You Will Do:
Source and drive new business development from existing customers through relationships, referrals, targeted prospecting, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)
Hunt for new potential customers according to the Lionbridge Life Science sales strategy.
Build strong relationships with our customers as well as partners to achieve sustainable business growth.
Prepare proposals and customer quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
Act as liaison between Lionbridge operations and customers.
What You Will Need:
Consultative sales experience, preferably from the life sciences industry.
Experience in localization services, or in other similar professional service area.
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Experience in collaborating and selling to mid-level and senior executive contacts, including the ability to manage dialogue with specialized and demanding R&D customers.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation skills with customers, to create a win-win for both Lionbridge and customer.
Self-motivated and self-directed on a daily basis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/German. Ability to speak multiple languages a plus.
Educated to degree level, preferably in a Life Science subject
