Lionbridge Poland is seeking a Data Software Test Engineer to join our fast-growing Games Department to support one of our biggest clients.
In this role you'll be responsible for compiling and analyzing test data and creating recommendations to inform test planning process. In addition to that, you'll have the opportunity to influence data driven culture within our Games Department.
Creating, modifying, and maintaining Kusto queries to create results that can be analyzed and visualized;
Creating visualizations from the queries built in Power BI;
Driving discussions, analysis, prioritization, etc. of test activity as well as informing the test and dev team of potential risks and trends;
Partnering with STEs on the test team to both understand their analysis and coverage needs, as well as to help teach them how to analyze and leverage the data to optimize their own work;
Supporting Test Manager and/or Test Lead in the planning of testing procedures and management of games testing project within the assigned areas in accordance with the adopted strategy;
In-depth product analysis as part of playing and testing for better understanding of its functioning and gathering feedback, providing suggestions for product improvements;
Cooperating and communicating with the customer and reporting within the scope defined by the Test Manager and/or Test Lead.
At least 2-year experience in quality assurance, including at least 1-year experience as Software Test Engineer;
Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred);
Willingness to learn data querying or any experience in this area is a plus;
Good command of test tracking and support tools (Azure DevOps or Jira preferred) and MS Office;
Knowledge of video game market and testing methodologies is a plus;
Fluency in English;
Good interpersonal skills (communicativeness, efficiency, attention to detail);
Ability to work unsupervised and with minimal guidance.
