The Business Intelligence Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, culling and analyzing data, as well as building and maintaining reports and dashboards. We are looking for a person with strong analytical skills, able to deeply analyze data, Identify the problem, present insights, develop a critical-thinking process in order to improve the business process.

Responsibilities:
Collecting data from many different sources;
Culling data of all types;
Creating data connections and relationships;
Using many forms of automation to eliminate the need for manual updates;
Creating reports and dashboards to desired specifications;
Utilizing many reporting and dashboarding platforms for data presentation;
Supporting numerous teams with their reporting needs;
Automating reports created by others;
Providing custom reporting and metrics according to client specifications;
Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques;
Identifying patterns and trends in data sets;
Defining new process improvement opportunities;
Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
Requirements:
BS in Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science;
3 to 4 years of relevant work experience;
Advanced Knowledge of collecting and culling structured and unstructured data;
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions and formulas - VBA is a plus;
Intermediate to Advanced T-SQL - Other Database languages are a plus;
Experience with PowerPivot scripting language DAX;
Experience with a wide range of reporting and data tools;
Fluent English;
Excellent Communication skills;
Story telling.
Nice to have, but not required:
Experience with the MS stack is a big plus;
Experience in building data warehouses is an advantage;
Knowledge of Microsoft Access;
Experience with social media analytics or reporting is a strong point.
