Creative Agency Sr. Producer

This role can be performed remotely, but must reside in the Western US

We at Lionbridge are actively seeking a full-time experienced and passionate Senior Producer to join our growing San Jose, CA team . This exciting and dynamic role is at the front and center of Cisco's award winning in-house creative agency (The Hatch), in a fast-paced and detailed-oriented environment of Operations.

This is a role for someone who has a deep love of storytelling and is driven to create and manage best-in-class film production work. You'll work collaboratively with creatives, AMs, PMs and internal/external production partners. This person must be creative, amiable, quick on their feet, solutions-driven and organized to ensure high quality work is delivered on time in an extremely fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

  • You prioritize and manage a multitude of projects without losing sight of the big creative picture or the smallest production detail, all while ensuring the work meets agency standards and client objectives.
  • You are an expert at building rapport and consensus amongst a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally, including agency creatives, AMs and PMs.
  • You will work with the agency Executive Creative Designer to identify creative leads and negotiate rates and terms when required.
  • From concept to completion you will establish, manage and clearly communicate overall timelines, project deliverables and resourcing needs, including creating RFPs and awarding projects to directors and production partners.
  • You will be an expert negotiator with productions costs, and you know what can be done, and done well, for $25K to $2M.
  • You will supervise and make informed decisions that drive production/post-production without sacrificing budget or concept.
  • You communicate production processes and best practices, while continually seeking improvements to drive efficiencies in production and budget.
  • You are able to identify and troubleshoot communication gaps and, logistical scheduling challenges, while navigating competing priorities, allocating resources appropriately and mitigating associated challenges.
  • You have a working knowledge of industry production contracts and the ability to negotiate terms independently and seek guidance from Legal when necessary.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Film or Communication or equivalent experience in film production.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven brand production experience, acting as a Producer in a creative advertising agency or internal creative team.
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of how to achieve objectives while meeting an expected brand standard with a high bar for aesthetic quality within set budgets and schedules.
  • Experience advising creative teams during the concept stage on production costs and execution options in order to deliver the highest quality work for the most efficient timeline and budget.
  • Superior estimating, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating and project management skills.
  • Ability to organize, track and reconcile projects utilizing collaboration tools.
  • Ability to manage very large budgets across multiple productions, concurrently.
  • Proven success with live action shoots, photography shoots, VFX and animation.
  • Strong familiarity with usage and licensing and the ability to navigate those territories with expertise and confidence.
  • Must have exceptional presentation, verbal and written skills
  • Flexibility to travel to San Jose, CA HQ office occasionally throughout the year.
  • Occasional travel domestically and internationally for production shoots as needed {once safety is restored for safe travel}.
