Lionbridge Community Training Specialist

The Lionbridge Community Management team is looking for a Training Specialist to lead and drive changes on training technology for an optimized e-learning experience of our community partners.

With a creative mindset, our Community Training Specialist will be in charge of the new design and implementation of a new Learning Management System, of delivering training and conducting learning webinars addressed to our community.

The Training Specialist will work under the supervision of our Community Training Senior Manager and will be part of our Global Community Management team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive change on training technology, adapting and implementing tools according to training needs.
  • Develop, design and review learning material (presentations, demos, training videos, online courses...), and incorporate learning technology in developing specific eLearning programs.
  • Work on selection and deployment of a Learning Management System that is compatible and best suited for the company needs and training objectives.
  • Work with Global Training and Community Management teams, tool experts and other stakeholders to gather and organize information related to learning needs. Use this as input for the development of training content.
  • Support the deployment of learning programs including updating training courses.
  • Utilize knowledge of Learning Management System capabilities to recommend training strategies leading to a meaningful and dynamic user experience.
  • Conduct surveys and collect feedback from users; use this feedback for training improvement (update of training material, maintenance of FAQ, training optimization, etc.).
  • Conduct and coordinate live training webinars, run demos and provide training to individuals and users groups.
  • Facilitate recorded learning in LMS.
  • Follow-up and resolve training queries from training participants.
  • Manage internal and external communication regarding training, working together with Lionbridge Community Managers, internal tools specialists, project teams and external partners.
  • Collect data to assess training effectiveness.

    Requirements
  • Proven knowledge and experience in modern e-learning methods, LMS, tools and training techniques.
  • Proven experience in designing training material and conducting online remote training.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in training related positions.
  • Experience with video and audio editing software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, in particular MS PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Learning, Training or related field.
  • Creative mindset.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes.
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken (ability to conduct training in English).
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively present information to a variety of audiences and to structure ideas in a clear way.
  • Team-worker. Ability to work and communicate effectively with different teams.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, yet capable to develop a global simplified learning path.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance changing priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about Community partners, company business, and the industry.
  • Localization industry knowledge and CAT tools is preferred.
  • Belief in the importance of people as a base strength of any business.
  • Global cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse communities.
