CE Coordinator and Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Lionbridge Germany is seeking a well-rounded candidate who has solid technical editing documentation experience in a highly technical field, such as mechanical or plant engineering .

The role proposed is temporary for 12 months

What you will do:

• 
  You will act as a consultant for our customers on CE and product safety-related topics as well as on the optimization of documentation content and processes;
  
• 
  You will support us in the conception and creation of service; operating and assembly manuals;
  
• 
  You create and revise danger analyses and risk assessments;
  
• 
  You will be responsible for training internal employees;
  
• 
  You check technical documentation and conformity documents for correctness, completeness and comprehensibility;
  
• 
  You will support us in editing and creating graphics.
  

To be successful you will have:

• 
  A degree or training in the fields of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable fields;
  
• 
  Professional experience in technical editing/documentation and CE coordination, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering;
  
• 
  Training as a CE coordinator would be an asset;
  
• 
  Very good knowledge of laws, regulations and standards;
  
• 
  Knowledge of editorial systems, e.g. Schema ST4 and/or COSIMA as well as MS Office and Adobe programs (FrameMaker, InDesign, Illustrator) distinguish you;
  
• 
  Good command of English;
  
• 
  Independent and structured way of working;
  
• 
  Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
