Account Executive, Life Sciences

Lionbridge is seeking an experienced and self-driven Account Executive to join our European Sales Team. The Account Executive creates opportunities and drives new revenue from existing customers in the Nordic region, creates solutions, and supervises project delivery for Lionbridge's strategic partnership with our key customers.

The right candidate will bring to this position: deep knowledge of and affinity for customer culture, a proven customer delivery record and focus, new solution development experience and ability to comprehend new areas, ability to develop relationships, and ability to negotiate large contracts.

You will have sales experience in Life Science localisation with a Global LSP. Alternatively, you may be from the pharmaceutical or medical technology industries since you will be selling specialized and regulated services to R&D industry professionals. Lionbridge is passionate not only about serving our Life Science customers, but also about bringing safe and effective medicines to patients on a global scale.

Ideally you will be based in Copenhagen, working from our office where you will have dedicated colleagues in a global Life Science team.

Responsibilities
  • Source and drive new business development from existing customers through relationships, referrals, targeted prospecting, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)
  • Build strong relationships with our customers as well as partners to achieve sustainable business growth.
  • Prepare proposals and customer quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Act as liaison between Lionbridge operations and customer


Qualifications
  • Consultative sales experience, preferably from the life sciences industry.
  • Experience in localization services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English. Ability to speak other Nordic languages desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in collaborating and selling to mid-level and senior executive contacts, including the ability to manage dialogue with specialized and demanding R&D customers.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with customers, to create a win-win for both Lionbridge and customer.
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in a Life Science subject.
